Role (overview of this position):
Responsible for assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll and human resources. Achieves goals and objectives by producing consistent and quality work, maintaining company SOPs, completing work according to daily schedules, and functioning as part of our accounting and human resources team.
Responsibilities (tasks associated with this role):
Invoice data entry and filing
Process and reconcile both customer and vendor payments
General ledger reconciliation and maintenance
Maintain payroll records and process payroll
Assist as the company’s on-site HR liaison
Manage compliance reporting for company benefits
Results (expected accomplishments):
Maintain thorough payroll records and process payroll on time and accurately
Maintain both current customer and vendor data
Process and manage accounts payable and receivable
Help the accounting and human resources team meet its goals
Requirements (expected proficiencies):
Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
Computer skills with knowledge of MS Office, QuickBooks and payroll vendors
Excellent time management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
Dependability
Desire to learn new skills
Being a team player and willing to jump in where needed
Servicing the customer above all else
Results (expected accomplishments):
Requiring both excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, the accounting and human resources assistant will play an integral role in both the accounting and human resources departments running smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.
